Flutterwave has introduced its new brand identity, accompanied by the introduction of new products that would enhance consumers’ experience, just days after announcing a $250 million funding round for corporate expansion.

The rebranding positions Flutterwave as a technological business that fosters growth and expands opportunities for everyone.
The new brand identity and goods were unveiled during the recent Flutterwave 3.0 virtual event.

Following the announcement of a $250 million Series D round of funding last week, Flutterwave decided to unveil its new and reimagined brand identity, reaffirming its commitment to using technology to create limitless possibilities for all, as well as introducing new products and services that take the technology leader beyond payments.

The brand launched a series of products during the event, which was streamed live on Youtube, including A Fintech as a Service (FaaS) solution that helps startups of all sizes quickly become Fintech companies using Flutterwave’s pre-built API and solutions; Capital, a technology platform for businesses and consumers to access Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) as well as Merchant lending from regulated and certified credit providers; and Grow, a B2B product that helps entrepreneurs easily incent their businesses globally; and Checkout, a new checkout experience that is 5x faster, reducing drop-off by 60 percent.
Other products introduced include Card issuing, a technology platform to enable businesses to issue both Mastercard virtual and physical debit/prepaid cards to their customers in partnership with Mastercard.

Flutterwave, however, said the products were still subject to regulatory approval.

Additional improvements to existing products included: a new powerful dashboard, Barter v4, and an AI-powered compliance process.

The Flutterwave visual rebrand came with six new primary colors which depict creativity, motivation, passion, ease, robustness, and eagerness.

Speaking about the new initiative, the Founder and CEO of Flutterwave, Olugbenga Agboola, said: “We are growing and for us, payments have become a means to an end. Every part of our lives includes some form of transaction. Beyond powering those transactions, we want to also create those transactions.
“We want to make it easy for event organizers to register and sell out their events; we want to make it easy for artists to get paid for their work, and we want to make it easy for entrepreneurs to incorporate their enterprises.” Our new image is a system that acknowledges how far we’ve progressed in our mission.”

“We always wanted to simplify payments for unlimited possibilities for our clients,” stated Yewande Akomolafe-Kalu, Flutterwave’s Head of Branding and Storytelling. Over time, we’ve realized that the tale of our effect is far bigger than just payments. We recognize the importance of embracing the entirety of our experience and making it a part of our identity.”
