Ojema Congratulates Abba Moro on His Appointment as Senate Minority Leader
The Member representing Apa/Agatu Federal Constituency in the 10th House of Representatives and Chairman of the House Standing Committee on National Inland Waterways, Hon. Pst Ojotu Ojema, has congratulated Senator Abba Patrick Moro, representing Benue South Senatorial District, on his appointment as the New Senate Minority Leader.
Senator Moro’s designation was officially announced on Tuesday, November 21, 2023, during the Senate Plenary by the Senate President, Sen Godswill Obot Akpabio.
The announcement followed Senator Moro’s nomination by the Minority Caucus of the Red Chamber. He is set to replace the former occupant of the position, Senator Simon Davou Mwadkwon of Plateau North Senatorial District, who was recently removed by the Appeal Court.
In a statement by Ojema’s Media Aide, Olikita Ekani, the House of Reps Member expressed gratitude to God for Senator Moro’s emergence as the Senate Minority Leader.

He commended the Senate Minority Caucus for recognizing Senator Moro’s worthiness for the nomination, describing him as a “Round Peg in a Round hole.”
