Wizkid announces break from music
In a surprising turn of events, the multi-award-winning music sensation, Ayodeji Balogun, famously known as Wizkid, has revealed his intentions to temporarily step away from the music scene.
The announcement was made through a series of Instagram posts on Sunday.
The chart-topping artist behind hits like “Essence” and “Fever” announced his plan to take a break lasting four to five years.

This isn’t the first time the superstar has made such an announcement. In 2019, he took to his Twitter account to declare his temporary departure from the music industry, stating, “Gone till March! Thank you.”
