Tinubu Withdraws Maryam Shetty As Ministerial Nominee, Picks Mahmoud, Keyamo
President Bola Tinubu has withdrawn Maryam Shetty as a ministerial nominee, choosing two others, including Festus Keyamo and Dr Mariga Mahmoud.
This was revealed when Senate President Godswill Akpabio read out a letter by the President at Friday’s plenary session.
President Bola Tinubu had on Wednesday sent an additional list of 19 nominees to the Senate.
The ministerial nomination of Maryam Shetty from Kano State by President Bola Tinubu on Wednesday had earlier generated mixed reactions from Nigerians on social media, particularly, Twitter.
