Tinubu appoints Ribadu as Special Adviser on Security
President Bola Tinubu has appointed the pioneer Executive Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Nuhu Ribadu, as his Special Adviser on Security.
This was announced in a statement signed by the State House Director of Information, Abiodun Oladunjoye on Thursday.
According to the statement, President Tinubu also appointed seven other Special Advisers on Thursday.
They include Mr Dele Alake as Special Adviser on Special Duties, Communications and Strategy, Mr. Wale Edun as Special Adviser on Monetary Policies, as well as Yau Darazo as Special Adviser on Political and Intergovernmental Affairs.
The President also appointed Olu Verheijen as Special Adviser on Energy and Zacchaeus Adedeji as Special Adviser on Revenue.
Others are John Uwajumogu (Special Adviser, Industry, Trade and Investment), and Salma Anas (Special Adviser, Health).
The appointment of Ribadu as Special Adviser on Security to the President has put an end to the rumours that he was being considered for the position of National Security Adviser (NSA).
