Sokoto Governor Tambuwal Warns Nigerians Against APC, Says Party Will ‘Continue Buhari’s Bad Leadership’

Sokoto State governor and former Speaker of House Representatives, Governor Aminu Tambuwal, has warned Nigerians not to vote for candidates of the ruling All Progressive Congress, (APC), as they will continue with the bad legacies of President Muhammad Buhari.

Tambuwal who is a frontline Presidential Aspirant gave the warning while speaking at a stakeholder meeting of the Peoples Democratic Party delegates in Lokoja, Kogi State capital on Monday.
The Sokoto State Governor said Buhari Government has brought nothing but pains to Nigerians, adding that, any attempt to bring an APC candidate to lead the Country will worsen Nigeria’s problem.

According to him, insecurity has worsened under the APC leadership adding that, Nigeria needs a Candidate that would unite, and address the insecurity and economic crisis bedeviling the development of the nation.

“No doubt the issue of insecurity is a national issue, but it has worsened under the present administration. Any attempt to vote for APC aspirants or Candidates will worsen Nigeria’s situation. Nigeria should know that APC will continue from Buhari’s bad leadership and under-development.

“This will not go down well for our Country as there is hardship in the land. We must not lose hope in this nation. Nigeria will rise again as we need a leader who will unite and not divide us”.

He said the eight years of the APC is hell on earth compared to the 16 years of rule of the People’s Democratic Party, (PDP).

According to him, he is very conversant with the judiciary stressing that his wealth of experience will bring back sanity to the Judiciary who is currently under attack by the Government in power.

He said his administration does not owe a Salary in Sokoto compared to some aspirants who could not boast of any meaningful project in their States.

Tambuwa reminded the delegates that the country is still having a fresh memory of the #Endsars where some Nigerian Youths met their untimely death due to poor leadership of the APC.

He, however, revealed that the ruling APC is making a fresh move to field the current Senate President Senator Ahmed Lawal as its Presidential candidate saying” they are gradually moving away from their zoning arrangement. We know their tricks. They want to see the outcome of our primary-come May 28th and 29th before they will decide who will be their Candidate.

Look at the APC National Chairman, he is quiet about their supposed zoning arrangement simply because they already have plans to field Senator Ahmad Lawal depending on who is the presidential candidate of our party”.

Tambuwal appealed to PDP delegates to go for aspirants that can deliver votes for the PDP, adding that, his emergence will put an end to the cruelty of the APC Government.

” I have apologized to PDP, as I was part of the people that brought this APC to power and I know how to take them out. Just give me your votes, the rest will be history as APC will be history in Nigeria” he said.
