President Muhammadu Buhari paid an official visit to Nasarawa state to commission projects carried out by the federal and state governments.

He landed at Lafia, the capital of Nasarawa state, around 10:00 a.m. on Thursday.

Before launching additional initiatives, the President will inspect the Lafia freight airport.

He was greeted by the state governor, Abdullahi Sule, and other dignitaries.
Governor Sule said earlier on Tuesday that the President is anticipated to visit the country and encouraged residents in the state to turn out in force to greet him.
Some of the projects he expects to commission are the Loko-Oweto Bridge, the CBN complex, the Federal Secretariat complex, and the Abuja-Keffi-Lafia-Makurdi dual carriageway.

Other facilities include the Nasarawa Vocation and Skills Acquisition Institute, the Karu and Lafia Bus Terminal, and Keffi Square, Neighboring Market.
