Pandemonium as fire breaks out at Canadian Embassy in Abuja

There was pandemonium on Monday as a fire incident occurred at the High Commission of Canada to Nigeria located in Abuja’s Central Business District, as reported by The PUNCH.

According to the report, Amiola Adebayo, the Head of Operations of the FCT Fire Service, conveyed in a phone interview that two individuals had suffered fatal injuries in the fire outbreak.

Additionally, he mentioned that approximately three to four other victims had been swiftly transported to hospitals for medical attention.

Amiola Adebayo affirmed the authenticity of the incident, stating, “Yes, yes, it’s true. We have two fatally injured and the others in the hospital, either three or four.”

However, he did not provide details regarding the cause of the fire or the identities of the affected victims, whether they were foreign expatriates or Nigerian citizens.
