When presenting the findings at Tuesday’s plenary session, Senator Opeyemi Bamidele, the Chairman of the Committee, said the bill wants seven additional law school campuses in Kabba, Kogi State; Jos, Plateau State; Maiduguri, Borno State; Ilawe, Ekiti State; Okija, Anambra State; Orogun, Delta State; and Arugungu, Kebbi state.

Senator Bamidele stated that, given the exponential increase in the number of law graduates from Nigerian and foreign universities, as well as the long-standing backlog, this legislative intervention is not only appropriate and opportune, but also crucial.
