NDLEA Seizes 1845kg Of Illicit Drugs, Arrests 365 In Adamawa

Adamawa state command of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) says it has secured 174 convictions of drug offenders in the last one year.

The state commander, Femi Agboalu who disclosed this today in a press briefing in Yola said the period under review, the command made a seizure of 1,081.9kg of cannabis sativa (Indian herm), 7 drums of formalin commonly called ( suck and die) and 28.013kg of cough syrup with codeine.
The commander, while highlighting the successes of his command, noted the year under review witnessed a reduction of persons arrested by 25 percent and increase in the number of seizures made by 33 percent
