Loretta Lynn ,Famous Country Musician Dies Aged 90 Years

Country music icon Loretta Lynn passed away at the age of 90.
According to her relatives, Lynn passed away on October 4 at her home in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee. In what may be considered a legendary career, the singer released 60 studio albums, reached the top of the US national charts 16 times, and received 18 Grammy Award nominations.
She married Oliver Lynn when she was between 15 and 21 years old, and despite Oliver’s frequent infidelity and battle with alcoholism, they remained together for 48 years. But Oliver passed away in 1996. Together, they produced six children, three of whom were born before Lynn turned 30.
Since Lynn was born into a coal mining family and came from a low socioeconomic background, her climb to fame is regarded as one of the most inspiring success stories in the US.
Following the passing of Loretta Lynn at the age of 90, Dolly Parton paid tribute to her describing the late singer as a “wonderful talent.”
“So sorry to hear about my sister, friend Loretta,” said the singer. We’ve been like sisters all the years we’ve been in Nashville and she was a wonderful human being.”
Lynn, who is best known for the song Coal Miner’s Daughter, has also received tributes from Carole King, Carrie Underwood, Billy Ray Cyrus, and Jack White.
She was referred to as a “mother figure” and “the finest female singer-songwriter of the 20th century” by White, who collaborated with the celebrity on an album in 2004.
“She was such an incredible presence and such a brilliant genius in ways that I think only people who got to work with her might know about,” he said in an Instagram video. What she did for feminism, women’s rights in a time period, in a genre of music that was the hardest to do it in, is just outstanding and will live on for a long time.”
She continued, “She broke down a lot of barriers for people that came after her.”
Loretta Lynn rose to fame by writing songs about their struggles. Her songs were replete with references to her own, frequently tumultuous marriage as well as rural pride, grit, and determination.
She was the second of eight siblings, and her defining song, Coal Miner’s Daughter, described her modest upbringing in a one-room log cabin in Butcher Hollow, Kentucky.
Other songs that became successful, such as The Fist, Rated X, and Don’t Come Home A-Drinkin’, portrayed strong women standing up to dishonest men.

“I Have Social Anxiety” — BBNaija Housemate Dede Opens Up Amid Criticism

Big Brother Naija Season 10 housemate, Dede, has revealed her struggle with social anxiety following criticisms from fellow contestants who described her as a “snub.”
Dede’s reserved nature has sparked controversy in the house, especially her refusal to hug male housemates, which some interpreted as unfriendly or aloof.
In a candid conversation with fellow housemate Koyin, Dede opened up about her mental health challenge.
“Do you have social anxiety?” she asked Koyin.
Koyin replied, “No, do you?”
“Yes, I do,” Dede answered.
Koyin then reassured her not to be overly concerned about how others perceive her, adding that “such is life.”
During her first diary session with Biggie, Dede had described herself as an introvert who “doesn’t like people.” She also offered clarity on her decision not to hug other housemates, saying it stemmed from the fact that she didn’t know them before the show.
Dede’s admission has since sparked conversations on social media about mental health awareness and the importance of respecting personal boundaries.

“Davido Is Nigeria’s Most Influential – Manager Asa Asika Insists”

Asa Asika, manager of Afrobeats superstar Davido, has declared that the singer is the most influential person in Nigeria.
Speaking during a recent appearance on the Zeph podcast, the renowned talent manager stood by his belief, despite ongoing debates and differing opinions in the entertainment industry and among fans.
“Davido is mad influential. I don’t care what anybody says, I think Davido is the most influential person in Nigeria. I have seen it firsthand,” Asika said.
Davido, the head of DMW (Davido Music Worldwide), is currently the most followed Nigerian across major social media platforms, a metric often cited by fans to support claims of his dominance in the digital space.
However, the debate over who holds the most real-world and online influence among Nigeria’s top music exports—Davido, Wizkid, and Burna Boy—has remained a hot topic for years, with each artiste commanding a fiercely loyal fanbase.
Asika’s statement is expected to reignite the conversation, particularly among fans of the three Afrobeats giants.
