The two men had planned to fight in Africa in the name of the organisation, the statement said.

One had also planned an attack on Israel. Both were arrested in July. An indictment was filed against them.

The third suspect is a 30-year-old Bedouin from the Negev desert.

Shin Bet said that during interrogation,  he confessed to haven prepared for missions on behalf of IS in Israel by practising shooting.

Several people had been killed or injured in a wave of terror in Israel since March.
