The Senator representing Gombe South, Sen. Bulus Amos, and the House of Representatives member representing Yamaltu/Deba Federal Constituency, Yunusa Abubakar are both under investigation by the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Gombe State for allegedly engaging in anti-party activities.

The lawmakers are being accused of involvement in anti-party activities during the just concluded general elections in the state.

Addressing newsmen on Tuesday, the Ward Chairman of Bambam ward in the Balanga Local Government Area of the state where Amos hails from, Muhammadu Kaka accused the senator of not showing up at the constituency throughout the campaign rallies of the party.

Kaka also accused the senator of working against the victory of some party’s candidates in the last elections adding that the ward leadership has therefore constituted a committee to probe the senator and recommend appropriate disciplinary action against him.

Similarly, Sama’ila Aliyu, the secretary of the party at Lubo/Kinafa/Difa ward of Yamaltu/Deba Local Government Area where the Abubakar hails from, alleged that the rep member only supported Senator Danjuma Goje in the recent election but worked with the opposition People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) candidates in other elections.

He said an investigation panel has been set up against the lawmaker and 57 other stalwarts of the party who were involved in anti-party activities.
