Former Catholic Pope Benedict XVI Dies At 95
Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI has been confirmed dead in his residence at the Mater Ecclesiae Monastery, Vatican City.
According to the Vatican who announced Pope Benedict demise, he said the Pope died at the age of 95 in the early hours of Saturday.
His death came days after Pope Francis had asked for prayers for his predecessor, saying he was “very sick”.
