The Confederation of African Football (CAF) announced on Wednesday that the 2021/2022 CAF Confederation Cup final will be held at Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo on May 20.

This is the first major continental club competition final to be held at the venue, which is also the home ground of NPFL team Akwa United.

The CAF Confederation Cup final was held in Cotonou, Republic of Benin, last year, with Morocco’s Raja Club Athletic defeating Algeria’s JS Kabylie 2-1.
