The Borno Youths International Congress (BOYIC) has declared support for Bola Tinubu’s All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential running mate, Sen. Kashim Shettima.
According to the Congress, the Muslim-Muslim presidential tickets, are a “win master stroke” against the opposition political parties in the country.
Announcing the unanimous support on Wednesday at a news conference in Maiduguri, the Congress Chairman, Muktar Gambo Gubio disclosed that the emergence of Shettima as the running mate is to sweep the forthcoming general elections in the North.
While congratulating Shettima, he said: “We wish to join millions of Nigerians in congratulating our resourceful Shettima on his nomination to be the vice-presidential candidate of APC.”

He added that the nomination of the former Governor and a serving senator at the National Assembly is the best choice made by the party since 2014.
According to him, Shettima has exhibited the capacities and commitments to transforming the State and living conditions of the people.
Besides, he added that the people’s lives were transformed including the various cities and communities of Borno state.
He is therefore confident that the vice-presidential candidate will employ his wealth of experience at the national level when elected in the 2023 general elections.
He thanked the APC presidential candidate and leader, Tinubu for making the wisest choice of Shettima, to be his running mate.
