AIT, Silverbird TV, and others have their licenses revoked by NBC

The broadcasting licences of Silverbird TV, AIT, Raypower FM, Rhythm FM, and other stations have been withdrawn by the National Broadcasting Commission (NBC).

The stations’ licenses were revoked, according to NBC Director General Balarabe Shehu, for failing to renew their broadcast permits.

Shehu instructed its state offices to coordinate with security organizations so that the operation of these stations would cease within the following 24 hours.
