AccessNews boss bags award over humanitarian services

Darul Islam Islamiya Yola has described the Publisher of AccessNews Magazine, Jamilu Yusuf (Dan Umma) as a humanity-conscious Young Man who has been a hope and pillar to the less privileged in Adamawa State.

The Islamic institute in its 2022 annual graduation ceremony recognized Yusuf and honoured him for his outstanding service toward support to education and the less privileged both within and outside Adamawa State.

Presenting the Award, the district head of Yola, Ahmed Mohammed Mustapha who is the Chika Soro Adamawa commended Yusuf for giving himself to the service of humanity and praying for more wisdom, strength, and resilience to do more.

In his words, “This award of excellence is being presented to you for your contribution toward supporting education and assisting the less privileged.”

He went on to say that Yusuf is receiving an award that recognizes him for his outstanding efforts in assisting the less fortunate in society, not only in the area of education but also in their socioeconomic well-being, and that his efforts would never go unnoticed.

Yusuf, a devout member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), is a renowned party figure who extends his goodwill not only to the party’s supporters, but the general public.

He pledged his commitment to awarding N50,000 annually to the overall best graduating student of Darul Islam Islamiya to encourage both Islamic and Western Education.

The graduation ceremony gathered together religious and political figures to witness the young people’s graduation.

To the delight of the audience, the students recite Quranic chapters and verses.
