Former Mr. Universe, singer, and actor Slami Ifeanyi was killed in Umubere, Akwa, the state capital of Anambra.
The 31-year-old songwriter was attacked and killed while operating his recently purchased vehicle.
The singer was attacked, according to a close friend of the musician who spoke about the incident.
He said that the incident happened when Slami was driving a car he had just bought. He said, “Although we don’t know why he was attacked it looks like a targeted attack.”

Slami combined Afropop, Highlife, and RnB in his sound, which he deployed to amuse his audience. Slami was a Nigerian music musician.
Along with being a singer, Slami was also a model, an actor, and the creator of the SLAMI EMPIRE, which ran ANAMBRA GOT TALENT.
