Libya’s Oil Minister Discusses Mining Investment With Nigeria

Libya’s Minister of Oil and Gas, Mohammed Aoun, has explored mining collaboration with Nigeria’s Minister of Mines and Steel Development, Olamilekan Adegbite, because Libya is rich in minerals such as iron, cement, and glass.

This was revealed during a meeting held on the margins of Aoun’s participation in the Nigeria-Africa Summit on Natural Resources and Energy Investment in Nigeria.

Aoun previously discussed the importance of investing in energy at the African level, as well as the possibility of shifting to clean energy, as well as developing joint plans for oil and gas transmission networks on the African continent with the Nigerian Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Timipre Sylva.
