Ladele pledges to revive Sitting Volleyball in Nigeria

The newly-elected president of the Nigeria Sitting Volleyball Federation (NSVF), Kayode Ladele, says the federation would organise more competitions to revive the sport in the country.

Ladele told newsmen on Tuesday in Abuja that government alone could not do everything to develop sports in Nigeria.

He pledged to partner with members of the board to organise more competitions in all the geo-political zones in the country

In his words, “It is our responsibility at the federation to first organise competitions both at the zonal and the national level.

“I and the board members have the same mindset and purpose to make the game popular in the country.

“Our main target is to revive the sport, it is not an individual work but a collective work.”

He called for the support of corporate bodies and Non- Governmental Organisations to sponsor the Federation with its various activities.
